Authors Note: Every kid at some point in their life deserves a chance to enjoy summer doing whatever they want.
Summer is when every kid doesn’t have to go to school or when kids can do whatever they want. Since there is no school you can stay up as late as you want and get up late in the morning. Summer is the time when most sports are played. You can be with your friends or stay home by yourself. Even if its not sunny out its still a summer day that anybody can have fun on and enjoy.

I really agree with you! If i had to put the way summer is, my words would be really close to yours. I also like how your piece is short and simple.
